Real Techniques Brushes Review

Hey Hi,

Real Techniques Brushes are a fairly new line of brushes made by Samantha Chapman; a makeup artist. She is a fabulous makeup artist and a big youtube personality with a wide range of makeup tutorials.

These brushes are actually quite awesome, i love them so much. They are dense and thick and apply everything so flawlessly. Also, they are not expensive they are super affordable. Its like getting high-end brushes for the price of a drugstore brush.

My two favourite brushes so far are,
The foundation brush is awesome, not the normal flat brush but its a round thick dense domed brush. It buffs your foundation so smoothly and effectively all over your face. And the domed eyeshadow brush is super useful, i use it to buff in my concealer. All the brushes are thick and well shaped and this is why i really love it because it will transform your makeup to the way it should be.

You can buy them in packages or they are sold separately, unfortunately finding them in Canada is not the easiest, the only places I've seen them sold were at Wal-Mart and sometimes if you're lucky you will find them at Winners!
I very much recommend to purchase these brushes they are worth it!!

Marc Anthony Moroccan Oil Hair Line

Hey Girlies,

I recently cut my hair about two weeks ago and its so short now :( and I've been trying to grow it out but it keeps on getting so dry therefore I'm forced to cut my hair. With every hair cut i get i experience the annoying curly hair syndrome. Curly hair syndrome is when you have curly hair but for some weird reason it feels like spazzing out of control after a hair cut and becomes this huge fur ball on top of your head! Then you cant maintain it with anything you try to do until it feels like calming down then you can tame it! But i find the way to fix this lion mane is by coming across a new hair care routine, and mine became the Marc Anthony Moroccan Oil Hair Line.

My mom bought it from Costco because it was on sale lol but i actually have been meaning to try it out. Ive tried out the original Moroccan Oil Hair line with the shampoo, conditioner and the oil and I LOVE IT!!! I still would go repurchase it... if only i had money (student problems!) BUT i have found the dupe for their line and it is the Marc Anthony line.

His new line is very affordable and its sulphate free, exactly like the Moroccan Oil, it has a similar scent to them as well. After the first try of their products i noticed how much softer my hair was and much more healthier looking! The curls were so much more tamed and proper!! I then knew from that God sent moment that this will be my new holy grail hair products! Both the shampoo and conditioner are amazing and it also came with the oil which is just so majestic!

I very much recommend this line for all hair types if you're looking for good shampoo and conditioner this line is perfect! especially if you're experiencing curly hair syndrome or dry hair syndrome or just pure hideous hair syndrome? :P Yeah just go grab it i promise you that you wont be disappointed!

To fast long hair growth journey we unite!

Back To School Makeup

Hey Hey Hey,
So its that time of the year again... SCHOOL!!! Yayyyyy.......not...
Well sorta yay im actually excited for it, this happens to me every single summer. Where i get super excited for the new school year and then when it hits you're just like "Ok screw you!"
But im excited for the fresh new clothing to wear and the nice cool air of fall, super excited for the fall fashion...i think ive mentioned that before in other posts but i cant help it im excited for the colour mahogany and navy!
Moving foreword, Ive created an easy back to school makeup tutorial its neutral colors but very flattering. if you havent noticed by now i pretty much only wear neutral makeup i find it flatterign adn easy to wear at anytime of the day. Its a look you can trun up and down.
So i used the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette the "Day" row on it, so lets get into it.

For the Eyes:

1) Take the light color and apply all over the lid up to the brow bone with a flat shader brush

2) Take the next shade to the right with a blending brush (i used MAC 217) and apply it to the crease in wind-wipers motion

3) Lastly take the darkest shade and apply a dot as so, to the most outer corner of the crease and blend through with the same blending brush.

4) Line your upper lash line with black liner. And lower lash line with the same dark shade on the lower lass line.

Face:

1) I mixed up my moisturizer with my foundation to create a tinted moisturizer. Im one that doesnt wear foundation regualrly but this way itll be moisturizing and at the same time give you some even skin tone  to work with.

2) I applied my concealer (mac studio fix) and then used a highlighting concealer and applied it like so,

3) Next i used my mac powder (studio fx in n25) and applied all over my face to conceal the coverage.

4) I took a bronzer (Benefit Hoola) and lightly contoured my face, applying it under my cheekbones, temples and jawline with a sigma angled blush brush

5) Lastly, i took Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush with a blush brush and applied on the apples of my cheeks. And finished it off with a dust of MAC soft and gentle mineralize skin finish as my highlighter on top of my cheeks.

Lips:

1) i lined my lips with top shop liner and applied revlon pink in the afternoon lipstick for a simple pinkish nude lip.

I hope you liked this look,
Yara

Whats In My Makeup Bag??

Hey girlies,
So today i thought id do a whats in my makeup bag post, ive never done something like this so i figured why not? Im always on YouTube watching makeup videos and i love watching different girls show us whats in their makeup bag. It gives me different ideas on how to organize it or what new products to try out. Its a great way to learn different ideas from different people in something we all have in common.

Now all girls love applying makeup and personally for me to make the process so much more enjoyable is the kind of makeup bag you have. There are sooooo many cute makeup bags out there and why not have some fun in the type of bag you carry your precious makeup in?

I was super lucky with my makeup bag because i found it in such a good deal at Winners, its a Michael Kors makeup bag! I love it to bits and i got it only for $25! Which is amazing!!! I carry all the most used makeup. Its a perfect size if youre going on a trip or just for the home, i really love it like a lot! :P

So here are the things im using most at the moment...

TopShop Makeup

Hello beauty lovers,
I am so sorry i havent been blogging like at allll!! its summer time and i went on vacation and was really busy, but I'm back with some great new posts planned!!
Today i will be talking about TopShop makeup, TopShop is an awesome store and they have a great line of makeup and nail polish.
I recently purchased some new products from them because they had an amazing sale! I got some nail polish for only 3$! and normally theyre like 11$ so obviously awesome buy!
i also bought an eyeshadow quad, that was only 8$ and i wanted to test it out they are perfect colors for fall! BTW are any of you excited for fall as much as i am??
The eyeshadow quality is pretty decent gives off great colour quality, pretty pigmented and for the amount i got it for you cant go wrong. A while back i purchased a blush from TopShop and its amazing, like it super pigmented all you need is a dab into it and you get alot of color!
My next post will be a tutorial with the use of the quad!

Have a great day!
